What is Gift with Purchase?

Offering products as a gift or for a discounted price when placing a product to the cart. And, with an option to create multiple offers with different discounts, customizable offer messages, and customizable visibility settings.

Steps to configure:

  • Go to Create campaign page and choose Gift with Purchase from the list.

  • Add one or multiple products to offer as a gift

  • Setup a condition to trigger the offer from different rules:

    • Line items rules - specific product, product tag/vendor/title/SKU/type, product collection, cart/line item attribute, promo code, promotional link (UTM), ref value from URL

    • Amount rules - cart subtotal and cart total

    • Smart Filters - filtered subtotal/total and filtered quantity.

  • Configure the Display messages or leave it as default:

    • Dynamic messages to inform customer how much more need to spend to get the desired offer.

  • Set the visibility settings from:

    • Option to hide campaign until all rules are met.

    • Scheduling - schedule a campaign with the option to specify both the start and end dates of the offer.

    • Market based promotion - target specific market or multiple markets.

    • Customer tags - offer exclusive deals for loyal customers using a tag filter.

  • Lastly, add the campaign to Llama Cart and Online Store:

    • Add to Llama Cart:

      Using a Setup Guide button on the right-top of the page, select a Connect to Llama Cart option:

      Campaign will be added down below the Cart Lines and click "Save" to complete the setup.

    • Add to Online Store:

      • Choose "connect to Online Store" option.

      • Copy the Widget ID.

      • Add the a Widget Block to your Theme.

      • Enter the Widget ID and click "Save".

    Gift with Purchase campaign successfully added to your Llama Cart and Online Store as well πŸŽ‰.

Additional features and functionalities:

  • Multiple Offer creation

    • Add several offers with different rule conditions

      *creating multiple offers help you to offer additional products when customer adds the initial offered product to a cart. Increasing the upsell without creating an additional campaign while managing all offers in one setup.

  • Different discounts configurations (fixed & percentage)

    Create different product discounts from Offer Products section:

    • Fixed discount:

    • Percentage discount -

  • Setting product limits to offers & product statuses:

    • Limits:

      • Product Limit - setting a limit for each product

      • Total Limit - a limit for several product combinations

    • Product Status:

      • Active - product is active and it is available

      • Draft - product is in draft

      • Unpublished - product is not published to Online Store

      • Archived - product is archived

        *Product labels helps you identify and modify the products to offer them with confidence.

  • Campaign layout customization:

    Campaign customization done from "customize" page:

    List of customizable items:

    • Appearance - background/button/text color, collapsible toggle and border radius control

    • Slider settings - "products per view" settings for different screen sizes(laptop, tablet and mobile) and with options to enable/disable slider arrows and bullets for better navigation.

    • Product cart - button text customization settings( add to cart, added and adding states of the button) and option to toggle on/off a "quickly view" functionality.

    • Additional settings - hide "out of stock" and hide added offers

    • Custom styling - using a CSS, create custom styles.

  • Coffee brands may gift a new blend or a branded tumbler with a purchase.

  • Holiday gifts such as Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
